I've done business with Joe at 930 Auto Repair. Great communication, fair price, stands behind what he quotes. Joe is my "I got a guy" when I need auto repair.

I never do this, but stay away from this shop. I own an older, high-mile (250,000+) car. It was in decent shape, so instead of replacing it, I took it in to 930 and asked them to help me fix it up enough to make it to 300,000 mi. They assured me they could, so I brought it in, and they sat on it for a few weeks, had to make multiple calls before I even got any kind of update. When they finally did look at it, I was told the timing chain was shot, and they recommended putting in a replacement engine from a salvage yard. I gave the "OK," and they waited another few weeks before even starting the job. I didn't have a spare car, so that whole time I had to keep borrowing vehicles from family members. When they finally finished and I got the car back, before I even left I noticed it had a major problem it didn't have before: it shuddered and rattled hard at idle, sometimes to the point of stalling. When I showed them this, I was told it was just new parts wearing in. Gave them the benefit of the doubt, but the shudders didn't go away, they got worse. A few days later, I discovered while turning on to Washington Center Rd that if I turn on the A/C (heat or cold), my gas pedal just stops working at all until I pull over, shut of the car, and turn it on again. Brought the car back with these concerns, and they said they could try a few things to fix them, all costing hundreds more dollars. When they gave me the estimates, I found that they were overcharging me on the parts by more than $250 what they cost retail; when confronted, they played dumb. This is when I should have just walked away, but I had them try one more repair, which did nothing to address either of the new problems. So now, they've taken over $5500 of my money, they didn't fix any of my problems, created several new problems that they won't fix, the car has worsened to the point of being barely drivable, and I ended up having to buy a new car anyway. Like I said, stay away from them if you value your car and your money.

Not recommended them at all stay away from this crook guy!!! Long story short in took a boat for a carburetor clean or replace and they took over 4 months to get it done and boat ended up the same as when I brought it in this guy don't care about their costumers that's why he is being call to court for a law suit I paid him over $2000 he claimed he did "a lot more work" to the boat and the boat still not working properly I took it back and now the boat been seating there for over a month and they don't seem to care since the "work" it's been paid for this place needs to be shut down they are the most dishonest people I ever met not to mention they ruined 2 deep cycle batteries and 1 one start battery that i had to replace

I highly recommend this shop!!! Joe is an awesome guy who will take care of you. My vehicles always come back in perfect condition. I won’t be taking my car anywhere else.

I thought was good,till I found out by myself ,don't did what it was supposed do,,will take any vehicle there,and not recommend no more,we going to court and proof

So far they're a shop I can trust. Great guys.
